Tree Woodblocks

 The tree series was created from 2019-2022 and evolved with an idea of how we are perceived from the outside and what we actually are on the inside.  These are not just trees, but lived experiences, with space to grow around them.  Confined by the boxes society has built around them, they will grow where their needs are met, not necessarily where you want them to.  I hand carved the trees and printed them in limited edition before retiring the blocks by painting them with acrylic and hanging them as their own unique pieces.
